Privacy policy
CHUO KAIKEI K.K. (“we”) sets out below how the Android app “memoru” (the “App”) handles user information. This English version is a translation; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Information the App handles on your device
The App handles the following information only on your device. It is never sent to our servers or to third parties, and we cannot access or view it.

If Android device backup is turned on, Android may back up this information to your own Google account.
2. Working with other apps
| Feature | How it works |

| Voice input | Only when you tap the 🎤 button, the App calls your device’s voice input (such as Google speech recognition). The App does not record or store audio; it only receives the resulting text. Audio is handled under the privacy policy of the app that provides voice input. |
| Adding events to a calendar | Only when you tap the button, the App passes the date, time, title, and note text it found to the event screen of the calendar app you chose (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.). You save the event in that calendar app. If the Outlook app is not installed, the App opens the event screen of Outlook on the web (a Microsoft Corporation service) in your browser. The App never reads your calendar. |
3. Ads and analytics
The App shows no ads and uses no analytics or crash reporting services. It does not connect to the internet.
4. Launch notification sign-up on our website
If you ask to be notified of the launch on our website (https://memoru.info), we keep your email address as follows.

5. Permissions the App uses

| Notifications | To show your notes on the lock screen and in notifications. |
| Run at startup | To restore your notes on screen after the device restarts. |
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not collect user information through the App (except the launch sign-up in section 4), and we do not share user information with third parties.
7. Deleting your data
The App has no user accounts. You can delete the data on your device at any time by deleting notes (swipe left or right in the list, or tap “Delete” on the edit screen) or by uninstalling the App. See Data deletion for details.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13.
9. Security
Information the App stores on your device is kept in the App’s private Android storage and cannot be read by other apps.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as laws change or as we add features. We will announce important changes on this page.
